We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
