Allah it is Who hath appointed for you cattle, that ye may ride on some of them, and eat of some - 79 There are advantages for you in them, so that you may satisfy your needs through them, and may be borne upon them and on ships. 80 And [thus] He displays His wonders before you: which, then, of God's wonders can you still deny? 81 Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? They were more numerous than themselves and greater in strength and in impression on the land, but they were not availed by what they used to earn. 82 Then when their Messengers came to them with clear proofs, they were glad (and proud) with that which they had of the knowledge (of worldly things): And that at which they used to mock, surrounded them (i.e. the punishment). 83 Then when they behold Our prowess, they said: we believe in Allah alone, and we disbelieve in that which with Him we have been associating. 84 But their believing after they had seen Our chastisement did not avail them. That has been Allah's Way concerning His servants. And the unbelievers courted utter loss, then and there. 85
