1/2 Hizb 54
< random >
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And burning in hell. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
