Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 His wealth and what he earns will not avail him. 2 Surely, he will be cast into a Flaming Fire 3 And his wife, the bearer of fuel, 4 A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
