O ye who believe! seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. 153 And say not of those slain in God's way, 'They are dead'; rather they are living, but you are not aware. 154 Surely We will try you with something of fear and hunger, and diminution of goods and lives and fruits; yet give thou good tidings unto the patient 155 and in difficulty say, "We are the servants of God and to Him we shall all return". 156 Those are they on whom are blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those are the followers of the right course. 157 ۞ [Hence,] behold, As-Safa and Al-Marwah are among the symbols set up by God; and thus, no wrong does he who, having come to the Temple on pilgrimage or on a pious visit, strides to and fro between these two: for, if one does more good than he is bound to do - behold, God is responsive to gratitude, all-knowing. 158 Surely those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance that We revealed after We made it clear in the Book for men, these it is whom Allah shall curse, and those who curse shall curse them (too). 159 Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful. 160 Verily those who disbelieve, and die while they are infidels, these it is on whom shall be the curse of Allah and the angels and mankind all. 161 They shall be abiders therein, the torment shall not be lightened on them, nor shall they be respited. 162 Your God is One God; there is no God except Him – the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 163
