The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
