The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 the mountains are scattered about as dust, 3 the young barren camels are abandoned, 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 and when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 For what crime she was killed; 9 And when the Records of Account are laid bare. 10 When the world on High is unveiled; 11 hell is made to blaze, 12 And when the Garden is brought near;- 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 Go straight, or hide; 16 and the night that falls, 17 And by the morning when it shineth forth, 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 Obeyed one; then trustworthy. 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Then where are you going? 26 This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). 27 (With profit) to whoever among you wills to go straight: 28 However, you will not be able to choose anything unless God, Lord of the Universe wills it to be so. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
