Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 until you come to the graves. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 nay, again, you shall soon come to know. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8
