Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 We certainly have the power to show you what they have been warned about. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
