Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). 1 Indeed, they are astonished that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. So these deniers of the truth say, "This is indeed a strange thing, 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 An insight and a Reminder for every slave turning to Allah (i.e. the one who believes in Allah and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon). 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 all this as sustenance for Our servants. And thus We do bring the dead land back to life with water. Such shall be the coming forth (of human beings from the earth). 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 and the people of Aykah, and the people of Tubba'. They all gave the lie to the Messengers. Thereafter My threat of chastisement against them was fulfilled. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
