So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
