The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 The event will be abasing some, and exalting some. 3 This will happen when the earth is shaken, shaken 4 And the mountains shall be made to crumble with (an awful) crumbling, 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 a host of the ancients 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 And fruit of what they select 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 And clustered plantains, 29 and continuous shade, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 Indeed We formed them (the houris and all believing women), 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
