The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
