Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Has not there come to you the news of the overwhelming calamity? 1 Many a face will be disgraced on that day. 2 Labouring, striving hard. 3 Scorched by burning fire, 4 Given water from the boiling spring to drink. 5 no food for them but cactus thorn 6 Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger. 7 (Other) faces that Day will be joyful, 8 Well-pleased with their endeavour, 9 In a high Garden. 10 Wherein you shall not hear vain talk. 11 Wherein is a gushing spring, 12 raised couches, 13 and goblets set forth 14 And cushions set in rows, 15 And rich carpets (all) spread out. 16 Do (these unbelievers) not observe the camels: how they were created? 17 and on the sky, how it is raised aloft, 18 And the mountains – how they have been established? 19 And how the earth was outstretched? 20 (Muhammad), preach; you are only a preacher. 21 You are not over them a controller. 22 But whoever will turn away (from the Truth), 23 God will punish them with the greatest torment. 24 Verily unto Us is their return. 25 And Ours their reckoning. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
