۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
