And recite to them the news of Abraham. 69 When he said unto his father and his folk: What worship ye? 70 They said, "We worship idols and will continue to cling to them." 71 He said: "Do they listen to you when ye call (on them)?" 72 Or, benefit they you or hurt they you? 73 They said, "But we found our fathers doing thus." 74 He said: "Do you observe that which you have been worshipping, 75 You and your ancient sires. 76 Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds, 77 who created me. It is He who guides me; 78 He Who feedeth me and giveth me to drink. 79 And when I sicken, then He healeth me, 80 “And He will give me death, then resurrect me.” 81 and who I am eager shall forgive me my offence on the Day of Doom. 82 Lord, grant me authority. Join me to the righteous ones. 83 and grant me the power to convey the truth unto those who will come after me, 84 And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure. 85 And forgive my father, verily he is of the erring; 86 "And let me not be in disgrace on the Day when (men) will be raised up;- 87 The Day whereon will profit neither substance nor sons. 88 except for him who comes to God with a pure heart. 89 (On that Day) the Garden will be brought near to the God-fearing, 90 and the Fire will be uncovered for those who strayed, 91 "And it shall be said to them: 'Where are the (gods) ye worshipped- 92 besides God? Will the idols help you? Can they help themselves?" 93 The idol worshippers, the idols, the rebellious ones, 94 And the whole hosts of Iblis (Satan) together. 95 And they will say, when they are quarrelling therein: 96 "By Allah, we were surely in clear error 97 When we equalled you with the Lord of the worlds. 98 “And none misled us but the guilty.” 99 We have no one to intercede for us before God 100 no caring friend. 101 "'Now if we only had a chance of return we shall truly be of those who believe!'" 102 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 103 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
