Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
