The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
