Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a known extent. 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
