(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 But how are you to know? 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
