Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
