Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 you would indeed, most surely, behold the blazing fire [of hell]! 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
