۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 They are always harassing us. 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
