AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
