The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
