▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 in a hidden Book 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
