The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ruin is for the defrauders. (Those who measure less.) 1 when they measure against the people, take full measure 2 But when they measure out to others or weigh out for them, they are deficient. 3 Think they not that they will be resurrected (for reckoning), 4 (To be raised) for a Great Day? 5 The day on which men shall stand before the Lord of the worlds? 6 Woe to them! Let them know that the records of the sinner's deeds are in Sijin. 7 And how would you know what the Record of the prison-house is? 8 It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed. 9 Woe, that Day, to the deniers, 10 Those who deny the Day of Recompense. 11 No one rejects it except the sinful transgressors 12 who, when listening to Our revelations, say, "These are only ancient legends". 13 They will never have faith. In fact, their hearts are stained from their deeds. 14 Indeed! On that Day a barrier will be set between them and their Lord, 15 and then they shall enter Hell, 16 They will then be told: "This is what you had denied." 17 But, the Book of the righteous is in the 'Illiyoon. 18 But how will you comprehend what 'Illiyun is? 19 A Register inscribed. 20 The ones nearest to God will bring it to public. 21 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 22 On adorned couches, observing. 23 You will recognise the freshness of serenity on their faces. 24 They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed, 25 its seal will be of musk -- for this let the aspirants aspire -- 26 and whose mixture is Tasnim, 27 A fountain whereof will drink those brought nigh. 28 Behold, the sinners were laughing at the believers, 29 And when they passed by them, they winked at one another. 30 And when they went back to their people turned to make fun of them; 31 and when they saw the believers, they said: “Lo! These are the erring ones”; 32 But they had not been sent as guardians over them. 33 So today the believers are laughing at the unbelievers, 34 On high thrones, watching. 35 Have those who deny the truth [not] been paid back for their deeds? 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
