The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
