The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
