The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is torn apart, 1 hearing and obeying its Lord, as it must do; 2 And when the earth is stretched forth, 3 and casts out all that is within it and becomes empty; 4 And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; 5 O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it. 6 So whoever is given his record of deeds in his right hand 7 he shall surely receive an easy reckoning 8 and he shall return to his people, joyfully, 9 But he who is given the Record behind his back, 10 Soon he will pray for death. 11 And he shall roast into a Blaze. 12 Surely he was (erstwhile) joyful among his followers. 13 Never thinking he will return. 14 Nay, nay! for his Lord was (ever) watchful of him! 15 So by oath of the late evening’s light. 16 by the night and all that it envelops; 17 And [by] the moon when it becomes full 18 you will progress from stage to stage. 19 So, wherefore do they not believe? 20 and [that,] when the Qur'an is read unto them, they do not fall down in prostration? ۩ 21 Instead, the unbelievers reject it, calling it a lie. 22 And Allah knows best what they gather (of good and bad deeds), 23 So give them news of painful punishment, 24 Save those who believe and do good works, for theirs is a reward unfailing. 25
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
