The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
