And remember thou Our bondman Ayyub, what time he cried unto his Lord: verily the Satan hath touched me with affliction and suffering. 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding. 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 And remember thou Our bondmen, Ibrahim and Is-haq and Ya'qub, owners of might and insight. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 And in Our sight, they are indeed the chosen ones, the beloved. 47 Recall Ismael, Elisha, and Dhulkifl (Ezekiel) who were all virtuous people. 48 This is a commemoration. Surely for those who take heed for themselves is an excellent place of return -- 49 the Gardens of eternity with gates thrown wide open to them. 50 wherein they shall recline, wherein they shall ask for abundant fruit and drinks, 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 'This is what you were promised for the Day of Reckoning; 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return - 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 Yea, such! - then shall they taste it,- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold!- 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 [And] they will pray: "O our Sustainer! Whoever has prepared this for us, double Thou his suffering in the fire!" 61 They say, 'How is it with us, that we do not see men here that we counted among the wicked? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Surely that is true the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire 64
