And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 not even a word can he utter but there is a watcher with him, ever-present. 18 And [then,] the twilight of death brings with it the [full] truth that [very thing, O man,] from which thou wouldst always look away! 19 And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). 20 And every soul cometh, along with it a driver and a witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 (It will be said): 'Indeed, cast into Gehenna (Hell) every deviating unbeliever, 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 and has set up another deity with Allah. Hurl him into the grievous torment.” 26 ۞ His companion will say: O our Lord! caused him not to transgress but he was himself in error far off. 27 Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. 28 The Word cannot be changed with Me; I do not wrong My worshipers' 29
