The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night! 1 what do you know what the night-visitor is? 2 (It is) the piercing star. 3 No soul is there but hath over it a watcher. 4 So let man consider from what he is created. 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 That issueth from between the loins and the breast-bones. 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 The day all secrets are examined 9 (Man) will have no power, and no helper. 10 Consider the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it. 12 Verily, it is a discourse distinguishing. 13 it is no merriment. 14 They are devising guile, 15 and I too am devising a guile. 16 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
