The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
