7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Universe; 2 Most Gracious, Most Merciful; 3 Owner of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 Show us the straight way, 6 the path of those whom Thou hast blessed, not of those against whom Thou art wrathful, nor of those who are astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
