And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 Do not be sorry for them, nor be distressed for what they devise. 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 BEHOLD, this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel most [of that] whereon they hold divergent views; 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 Verily, you cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. benefit them and similarly the disbelievers), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they flee, turning their backs. 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
