If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 We did not teach him (to wit, the Messenger) poetry and it does not behove him. This is none but an Admonition, and a Clear Book 69 that he may warn the living, and so that Judgement may be passed against the unbelievers. 70 Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners? 71 Whom We made subservient to them so that some of them they ride and some they eat? 72 From cattle they get milk and other benefits. Will they not then give thanks? 73 Yet they have taken, apart from God, gods; haply they might be helped. 74 They are not able to give them succour; whereas they shall be against them host brought forward. 75 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) do not grieve because of what they (the disbelievers) say; indeed We know what they conceal and what they disclose. 76 Has the human being not considered that We have created him from a drop of fluid. He is openly quarrelsome. 77 And he has struck for Us a similitude and forgotten his creation; he says, 'Who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed?' 78 Say: "He who created you the first time. He has knowledge of every creation, 79 [It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite. 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator. 81 His command, when He desires a thing, is to say to it 'Be,' and it is. 82 Wherefore hallowed be He in whose hand is the governance of everything, and unto whom ye shall be returned. 83
