Seest thou one who turns back, 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.
