۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
