Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the heaven, and At-Tariq (the night-comer, i.e. the bright star); 1 What could let you know what the nightly comer is! 2 - The piercing Star! 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 So let man consider from what he is created. 5 Created from a gushing fluid. 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 Surely He (the Creator) has the power to bring him back (to life). 8 on the Day when all secrets will be laid bare, 9 (Man) will have no power, and no helper. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 and by the earth bursting with vegetation; 12 Lo! this (Qur'an) is a conclusive word, 13 it is not a jest. 14 They are devising guile, 15 but I too plan against them. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.

There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
