The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
