The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
