Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 pursuing a straight way 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
