We shall make satan the companion of whoever ignores the remembrance of the Beneficent God. 36 And verily, they (Satans / devils) hinder them from the Path (of Allah), but they think that they are guided aright! 37 And when he comes before Us, he shall say: 'Would that there had been between me and you, the distance of the two Easts' Evil is the companion. 38 It will be said [to such a person], "You have done wrong. Having partners in punishment will be of no avail to you today." 39 Can you (O Muhammad SAW) make the deaf to hear, or can you guide the blind or him who is in manifest error? 40 Even if We take you away from the world, We shall surely take vengeance on them 41 or make you see the end that We had promised them, for We have full power over them. 42 So hold fast to all that has been revealed to thee: for, behold, thou art on a straight way; 43 And most surely it is a reminder for you and your people, and you shall soon be questioned. 44 And ask thou Our apostles whom We sent before thee: appointed We gods, beside the Compassionate, to be worshipped? 45
