▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 in a hidden Book 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
Almighty Allah's Truth.
