Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
