۞ Those people, who have no fear of coming before Us, say, "Why should not the angels be sent down to us? Or else we should see our Lord. " Great arrogance have they assumed in regard to themselves, and have transgressed all limits in their rebellion. 21 The day they see the angels - no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and [the angels] will say, "Prevented and inaccessible." 22 and We shall take all that they did and turn it into scattered dust. 23 Fellows of the Garden shall be on that Day in a goodly abode and a goodly repose. 24 And the day when the sky will be split asunder with clouds and the angels will be sent down in full. 25 The dominion on that Day shall be the true dominion of the Compassionate, and it shall be a day upon the infidels hard. 26 And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist, etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (Muhammad SAW). 27 Woe alas, ah would I had not taken so-and-so as friend! 28 For it was he, who had deluded me to reject the Admonition which had come to me. Satan has proved very treacherous to man. " 29 And the Apostle cried out: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing. 30 Thus have We made for every prophet an enemy among the sinners: but enough is thy Lord to guide and to help. 31 Now they who are bent on denying the truth are wont to ask. "Why has not the Qur'an been bestowed on him from on high in one single revelation?" [it has been revealed] in this manner so that We might strengthen thy heart thereby - for We have so arranged its component parts that they form one consistent whole 32 And they shall not bring to you any argument, but We have brought to you (one) with truth and best in significance. 33 Those who will be gathered on their faces unto hell: such are worse in plight and further from the right road. 34
