The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 and the drivers driving, 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 Some of them who stealthily steal words from the heavens are pursued by a glistening flame. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see! 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 [And they will be told:] "This is the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false - the Day] which you were wont to call a lie!" 21
