And he who believed said: O my people! Follow me. I will show you the way of right conduct. 38 "O my people! This life of the present is nothing but (temporary) convenience: It is the Hereafter that is the Home that will last. 39 “Whoever commits an evil deed will not be repaid except to the same extent; and whoever does good deeds, whether a man or a woman, and is a Muslim, will be admitted into Paradise, in which they will receive sustenance without account.” 40 ۞ "And O my people! How is it that I call you to salvation while you call me to the Fire! 41 You call me to disbelieve in God, and to associate with Him that whereof I have no knowledge, while I call you to the All-mighty, the All-forgiving. 42 "There is no doubt that what you summon me to is something that has no claim to being invoked either in this world or in the life to come - as [there is no doubt] that unto God is our return, and that they who have wasted their own selves shall find themselves in the fire: 43 Soon you will remember what I say to you! I shall entrust my affair to God, for God is observant of all [His] servants." 44 So Allah warded off from him the evils which they plotted, while a dreadful doom encompassed Pharaoh's folk, 45 Fire, to which they are exposed morning and evening. The day the Hour is proclaimed (it will be said:) "Admit the people of Pharaoh to the severest punishment," 46 And [mention] when they will argue within the Fire, and the weak will say to those who had been arrogant, "Indeed, we were [only] your followers, so will you relieve us of a share of the Fire?" 47 Those who had been arrogant will say, "Indeed, all [of us] are in it. Indeed, Allah has judged between the servants." 48 And those who are in the Fire will say to the keepers of Gehenna, 'Call on your Lord, to lighten for us one day of the chastisement!' 49 They will say: came there not your apostles unto you with evidences? They will say: Yea? They will say: supplicate then yourselves. And supplication of the infidels will be but in wandering. 50
